Dogs of Eaglemont #48

A salute to our canine companions
Dogs of Eaglemont #48
Retired Guide Dog London - when she was out of harness and luxuriating in Eaglemont living. Dear old girl had to learn to play with toys and balls in old age.
What a friendly, obedient Chocolate Lab. Responding to commands, not licking the camera, not jumping on the photographer. Good girl.

When did chocolate Labradors appear on the scene?

My first encounter was back in Adelaide in about 1990 when my friend Howard Bone of Bone Timber Industries selected a successor for his Cocker Spaniel Nora. Yep - she was called Nora Bone.

I have not seen any Guide Dogs outside the traditional golden or black club colours.

Wandered down to the Village and there is Kat patiently waiting for the coffee ceremony to finish.
