Gardens on Sherwood Road

Gardens on Sherwood Road

We are Holly, Aliza and Liz, of the FOEV group. We maintain the plants along the southern end of Sherwood Rd/ Ashby Grove intersection. We have planted seedlings that ourselves, community groups and John W have propagated. We wanted to show the great transformation over the years that has taken place along some of the areas of Sherwood Rd thanks largely in part to the commitment and vision of John Walkley. We are now the custodians of his extensive seed collection, are looking forward to propagating and welcome volunteers re same.

A recent frequent sighting, a native King Parrot amongst the garden, eating the fruits/seeds of the Dianella.
