Video: Trains and Heritage Day 2024 at Eaglemont

Nilss has sent this link to a Jasper's Transport Video: Metro and Heritage Trains at Eaglemont, on YouTube, filmed on the day, with short description.  Some of our work around the station features briefly, at 8 mins 46 secs.  The Heritage Market also features briefly at the beginning.

Eaglemont station, on the Hurstbridge line in Melbourne's north east, was opened in 1926 with the current platform 1 added in 1949 when the line between Ivanhoe and Heidelberg was duplicated. On August 11, 2024, the annual Eaglemont Village Heritage Day was held and, as part of this, Elecrail's restored heritage Tait "Red Rattler" train was chartered to run shuttle rides between the station and Clifton Hill. For this video, we see two of these Tait shuttles at the station as well as X'Trapolis trains on normal Sunday services.
