Message from President Steve Cullen

Friends of Eaglemont Village continue to advocate with Banyule Council for a multi-purpose meeting space in Eaglemont, somewhere that can be used by various groups for activities, gatherings, meetings, etc.
I recently raised the issue again at a Council meeting and it has been confirmed that the item is included within the Banyule Council Community Infrastructure Plan and they have advised us that the Healthy & Active Communities team will be in touch with us for community consultation in the March quarter.
If our FoEV members have any thoughts on this and would like to put forward suggestions, now is the time to start putting your thinking hats on. Please send any ideas to Pippa our Newsletter editor eaglemontvoice@outlook.com.
We will follow up with a more formal request/reminder closer to March.

On behalf of the FoEV Committee, I wish to thank all our members for their dedicated work this year in maintaining and enhancing our village and station garden areas and supporting the work we do for Ryder Cheshire homes. I wish all our members and readers a very happy and safe Christmas and New Year.
