Newsletter 28 July

Apologies for the late delivery - it's been a busy weekend!!

COMING UP:

Thursday 1 August  -  Meet Up and Make It craft group

(previously called Sit and Sew) 2pm in The Dish.  All welcome. Join us for a chat, and work on your chosen project (or just admire what others are doing).

Working Bees – Saturday 3 August at 1 pm, then every Saturday afternoon in August.

Meet at 43A Sherwood Road this Saturday.  We have lots of plants that need to be in the ground, and with all the rain the weeds are going crazy, so there will be something on every Saturday afternoon in August (so we hope the afternoon weather is a bit warmer and kinder to us).  Please keep watering our new plantings under trees, even with the rain some areas are still very dry as we discovered on Sunday.

Locations for the working bees will vary, so please keep an eye out for updates (via email) and notices in the window of both the Post Office and the Artists’ shop. Come along and help us if you can spare an hour or so, no experience necessary.

Sunday 11 August is Heritage Day in the Village.

We will be running free wildflower walks in Sherwood Road – for more information about this see the posts on Nature/Wildflower walks, and Thanks to Australia Post and George and Mary ...
