John Walkley laid to rest in Moonta, South Australia
From Bronwyn Walkley:- This is John’s resting place. The surroundings are beautiful, with big gums surrounding old pine trees planted in the 1850s. I thought perhaps this would be interesting for some of the FOEV. The pieces of Eaglemont Village garden were used to lay on John’s coffin, so

Saturday working bee well attended......
Thanks to all who attended the Saturday morning working bee. A lot of good work was done in damp, trying circumstances. Another set of giant pencils were unveiled with a special tribute to John written on a couple of them. A lot of weeds were pulled, plants planted and paths
