Membership $10 a year.  Many thanks to the people who have recently taken out or renewed your membership (a very reasonable $10 per annum). We will be very grateful if others could consider doing the same, please.   We are all volunteers, so we keep costs to a minimum, but we do have some ongoing expenses, including maintaining the website and newsletter, and membership of organisations such as Landcare, which provide us with insurance cover.  Where possible we apply for grants to cover our expenses, such as the purchase of plants and/or tools.

The number of members we have helps add weight to our arguments when we are talking to Banyule Council about the Eaglemont environment, the Village and its facilities.

Until now membership has been on rolling basis, and it will simpler and easier for us for it to be on by calendar year.  So memberships taken out now will be for the 2024 year.

The newsletter will remain free for those who do not wish to become paid members.

In other news, read President Stephen Lake's report on progress with the John Walkley memorial seat; and we have some information about the Birds in Backyards survey done over summer; Dogs of Eaglemont; and updates on some of Council's consultations.
