Newsletter Sunday 28 January

Welcome to the first Newsletter of 2024.

There have been some changes within Friends of Eaglemont Village, with Stephen Lake being elected President, Liz Lee as Secretary and Brett Barclay as Treasurer. We send our thanks and Congratulations to all three.

Coming up in the next week are:

the next Working Bee, Saturday 3 February.  Assemble at 9.00am (to beat the heat) on Alandale Rd, opposite Wimbledon Grove.  And check out our new trailer at the same time!

And the Sit and Sew group will meet on Thursday 1 February at 2 pm in The Dish.

Otherwise there is plenty of information in this newsletter: Dogs of Eaglemont, news of additions to the Fairy Garden and of plans for the Righi reserve, and several other things that might be of interest.

Council is running a number of consultations:  Chelsworth Park pavilions, the draft Public Realm Strategy, next year's budget, a Self Determination Strategy, and Responding to Climate Change - see the links below.

Happy Reading!
