Odenwald Bridge - your thoughts are invited

Alida McKern, Councillor for Chelsworth ward, advocated for a separate pedestrian bridge at the Odenwald bridge site—on the feedback from FoEV that the bridge was unsafe for pedestrian traffic. This was successful in achieving:

1) Council-installed traffic calming measures (recently completed), and

2) Inclusion of more formal Odenwald bridge upgrades on the Council advocacy list to State Government (the Bridge is owned by State Government)

Given Cr McKern has championed this cause on behalf of FoEV, she is interested to know resident thoughts regarding:

  1. The recent traffic calming works—what effect do you believe the works have had on traffic and pedestrian movement?
  2. Council’s advocacy to State and Federal Governments for a new bridge

You can let Cr McKern know what you think by email at Alida.McKern@banyule.vic.gov.au
