SIT & SEW EAGLEMONT
A group to bring locals together for sociable "sit & sew" sessions is being formed by Friends of Eaglemont Village.
A stronger community depends on social networks. People who know each other in their own neighbourhood.
Friends of Eaglemont Village (FofEV) has applied for an Australia Post community grant to allow us to sponsor a "Sit & Sew" circle.

FofEV plans to support the group through its first 3 gatherings by offering a free coffee & cake to each attendee at each session.
"Sit & Sew" can mean any fabric or yarn craft you can occupy yourself with - bring the darning if you like! Let's agree ironing is not a craft for cafes, and there will not be a TV to help pass the ironing time!
Beginners, the digitally dexterous, those who just want some company - all welcome.
