Darning, patching, mending, button replacements, darts and seams adjusted - unlikely to be so low brow.
Sit & Sew Eaglemont Starts Thursday
Tapestry, sewing, darning, knitting, crochet, lacemaking, weaving & more - all welcome!

Strong interest has been shown in our fledgeling FofEV sewing circle which kicks off this Thursday 1st May, 2 p.m. at the Dish.

A former resident now living in the country has caught wind of developments and is re-organising her Melbourne visits to join in.

Notices have been placed in Village businesses, Pippa has been calling our pre-registrations, Bron has posted on a local Facebook page and alerted the Eaglemont Quilters members.

The wheel will really have turned should the Eaglemont Quilters attend - their group formed in Bev Bannard's shop (now Tommy's fish & chippery) 25 years ago.

Contact Pippa 0488 091396 for more information.

There is a buzz of excitement at the Dish at the prospect of having a community group using the cafe for networking.

No joining fees, and a free coffee and cake for the first 3 meetings.

Down at the Post Office Mary is delighted to display a notice from Australia Post congratulating them for the successful nomination of Friends of Eaglemont Village for a community award.
