Council election results

We congratulate Alida McKern and Peter Castaldo, who have been re-elected to Chelsworth and Griffin wards respectively and will continue to represent Eaglemont and surrounding areas.  Also to all the other successful candidates in the recent council elections.  The results will be officially declared in the coming days, but the VEC website is showing that both have been successful.

There will be three new faces on Council for the next 4 years, as three of the last term's Councillors stepped down, including Tom Melican, who was a councillor for 20 years and was the Mayor last year.

Next Monday (18 November) there will be a meeting to elect the Mayor for the coming year.  The first full Council meeting will be on 25 November.  All meetings are held in the Council Chambers at ILCH, starting at 7 pm, are open to the public, and will also be live streamed.  Follow this link for more information.
