Update: Community Climate Resilience Plan, and Tennis Strategy - drafts for consultation

*Climate Resilience plan closing 12 August, info/feedback sessions next week
- The draft Tennis Strategy feedback by 28 July. More information is available via the Shaping Banyule page on this link: https://shaping.banyule.vic.gov.au/TennisBanyule
- The draft Community Climate Resilience Plan will be on Shaping Banyule (link below) from 15 July, having been approved at Monday night's Council Meeting (13 July). It outlines how Banyule 'aim(s) to reduce contributions to climate change, and how we will adjust to climate-related risks like extreme storms, heatwaves, floods, fires and their knock-on effects.'

We've all felt the effects of extreme weather events, and it is only a matter of time before the next one. As well as mitigation strategies, this plan is about helping the community adapt to the effects of climate change, such as more frequent extreme weather events. Your experiences can help with this.
