Update - there's a lot happening ...
Hello again
At Monday's (15th July) Council meeting:
- The development at 321 Lower Heidelberg / 1 Maltravers Roads (the old Uniting Church site) was REJECTED
- the Development Plan for the Water tank site was APPROVED with some amendments
- the decision on the Housing and Neighbourhood Strategies was DEFERRED to the next meeting (5 August).
- The Marrageil Strategy: Aboriginal Self-Determination and action plan was APPROVED.

Coming Up:
- Councillor Alida McKern is holding a community meeting at Ivanhoe Library on Tuesday 23 July starting at 6.15. Cllr McKern represents Chelsworth ward (which covers Sherwood Road and to the west) and welcomes residents from other wards too. Questions in advance (to give the staff an opportunity to prepare responses) to Alida.McKern@banyule.vic.gov.au . This is an opportunity to meet Alida and also CEO Allison Beckwith; and is the last ward meeting before October's council elections.

- Thursday 1 August Meet Up and Make It craft group 2 pm The Dish (previously known as Sit and Sew).
