Ward Meeting - Chelsworth - May 11 - Ivanhoe Library
Democracy requires citizen involvement - its not enough to just be informed through social media, or vote at intermittent elections.
Ward Councillor Alida McKern - who is concurrently Banyule's Deputy Mayor - trys very hard to be a representative of her residents, and to hear directly from them.
Another ward meeting will take place at Ivanhoe Library and Cultural Hub from 6:30 p.m. on 11 May.
All residents are welcome, notwithstanding the arbitrary Council ward boundaries.
If you have a matter you want canvassed at the meeting please submit a question in advance - better to have an informed discussion than a deferral.
